The approach

Four fields, one method.

A small business has varied needs, whether problems to solve or opportunities to seize. No one can credibly claim to master every skill required. So we work as a network: our expertise where it genuinely adds value, and a referral to better-qualified colleagues when the question calls for it.

Beyond the skills a company lacks, the owner is usually alone when facing decisions. That is where our main contribution lies: support over time rather than one-off assignments, on a clear and contained budget.

01

Business development

Growing the business: through the market, through the offer, or through acquisition. Including the development of new products and services, which is not a separate activity but an engine of growth.

  • Growth strategy
  • External growth
  • Identifying opportunities
  • Developing and rolling out action plans
  • Finding partners
  • Building on the company’s strengths
  • Sales development
  • Product and service development
  • Consumer research
  • Organising innovation
02

Transfer and acquisition

A family-owned business is not handed over on the basis of its EBITDA alone. Organising a transfer is a trade in itself, one that has to account for the human dimension of the company.

  • Preparing the sale
  • Organising a transfer within the family
  • Finding a buyer
  • Supporting the acquisition
  • Financing the acquisition
  • Crowdfunding
03

Management

The owner of a small business rarely has someone competent to discuss difficult trade-offs with. In a small organisation that is the first issue of all, ahead even of recruitment.

  • Coaching for owner-managers
  • Management training
  • Appraisal and development systems
  • Recruitment
  • Hosting and supervising interns
04

Companies in difficulty

Judicial reorganisation deals with debt. It does not deal with what caused it: it is the recovery of management that decides whether the company survives.

  • Judicial reorganisation proceedings
  • Developing recovery plans
  • Supporting the turnaround
  • Negotiating with creditors
